TISD Technology

Thrall ISD continues to make progress in its integration of technology in the curriculum and the classroom. All of our improvements have helped propel Thrall ISD towards our common vision for technology in the district. The current TISD Technology Plan 2016-2019 is designed to further supplement these advancements while ensuring anytime/anywhere access to technology-based teaching and learning for all staff and students by providing appropriate devices, services, and support. The district's technology plan will identify the goals, objectives and strategies to improve the academic achievement of all learners; improve the learning environment so that all teachers integrate technology effectively into curriculum and instruction; improve district leadership for effective decision making; and improve the technology and telecommunications infrastructure. The plan is consistent with the recommendations for LEAs as defined by the Texas LongRange Plan for Technology in the areas of Teaching and Learning; Educator Preparation and Development; Leadership, Administration and Instructional Support; and Infrastructure; as well as the erate applications guidelines, the No Child Left Behind Act and other state standards, such as the Technology Applications Standards for Beginning Teachers.
