Thrall Wins FFA "Stock the Trailer" Battle

Thrall and Thorndale FFA chapters once again teamed up to stock their trailer full of canned goods, non-perishables, and individually packed snacks to be donated to local food banks and other student meal programs. Tax Rate 2019-20 Decreases

Thrall ISD adopted a total tax rate of $1.28 per “one hundred dollars” in taxable property value. That tax rate services a maintenance and operations budget of $1.068 and a debt service payment of $.219. The adopted rate represents a 10 cent decrease in the tax rate from 2018-2019. This year’s 86th legislature’s public school finance reform served as the primary driver in the rate reduction. Specifically, HB 3 provided tax relief for property owners and additional state revenue to school Districts.

LEEP After School Program for Thrall ISD students in PreKindergarten through 6th grades for our second year in the 2019-20 school year!
