After Tuesday, May 19, meal distribution will still be available from other locations. Many Texas schools are offering meals at no cost to children and teens 18 and younger, and enrolled students with disabilities up to 21 years old. Instructions for picking up meals without children present--
Effective Friday, April 3, parents may pick up meals without their children present at our Thrall ISD feeding site. Parents must provide one of the following types of documentation when picking up a meal without the child present:
- Child's birth certificate (born 2001-present)
- Student report card (does not have to be from Thrall ISD)
- Student ID card from any other district (Thrall ISD does not have a student id card)
Curbside meals are intended to be picked up for your own family, not for others. The documentation can be held up to the window for staff to inspect. We will not ask to touch the document or get a copy. There must be one piece of documentation for each child not present to receive a meal. Documentation is not required when a child is brought to the meal site.
Please note that applications for free or reduced price meals for the 2020-2021 school year are not yet available. Check back in July 2020 to apply for next school year.
Please contact our cafeteria staff with any questions.
