Congressman Carter created the Carter’s A-Listers Award over 5 years ago to highlight exemplary students in Texas District 31. The Award highlights education, community involvement and overall outstanding achievements, both in school and out. “As a strong supporter of education and community involvement, I’m happy to honor Caleb as an outstanding example of giving back,” Congressman Carter said.
Caleb began his volunteer work in the summer of 2018 helping high school staff move furniture and assisted with organizational tasks. During the summer of 2019, Caleb continued his daily volunteer work. “Caleb is very trustworthy and one of the hardest working students that I have had the pleasure of working with,” Rhonda Leschber-Stallings said. “You will never meet another student with the work ethic and dedication.” In addition to volunteer work, Caleb is involved in multiple school activities including band and the Superintendent Student Advisory Council.
“Caleb has been a model student for our school and is a contributor to our culture,” Thrall Superintendent Tommy Hooker said. “He will continue to serve this community and I’m certain he will be great in any of his future communities he will become involved.”
Congratulations to Caleb!
