Thrall Golf Finishes Season at Regional Tournament!

At the Regional Golf Tournament on April 24-25 in Corpus Christi, Bubba Dubec and the Tigerettes competed with great efforts made by all. On Wednesday, the Tigerettes shot a 498. Dubec had a few unlucky shots leaving him with 99. After the storms had passed on Wednesday night, everyone went out and played more relaxed. On Thursday, the Tigerettes took off 16 strokes and finished with a 482. The Tigerettes finished 9th at the Regional Tournament. Dubec also took off two strokes and finished the day with a 96; ending the tournament with a total of 196.
 
Two freshmen, Emily Miksch and Shelbi Druesdow, and juniors, Kailey Hoffman and Riley Krenek, made their Regional Golf Tournament debut. Returners, Kaylee Jackson and Bubba Dubec also made their way to Corpus for the tournament. 
 
Although disappointed, the Tigerettes and Dubec competed with heart and are looking forward to making another run at the Regional Tournament next year.

Thrall Golf had a successful District Golf Tournament on Mon., April 1 at Mustang Creek in Taylor. Bubba Dubec and the girls team advanced on to the Regional Golf Tournament in Corpus Christi on April 24-25.
 
The Tigers shot a 432 just four shots shy of third place. The following Tigers contributed to the team score:

McKaleb Hamann competed as Thrall's medalist and shot a 141.
 
The Tiger's season came to a close on Monday. Nonetheless, the Tigers have shown growth and understanding of the game of Golf especially freshmen Luke Fisher and McKaleb Hamann. 
 
The Tigerettes shot a 469 to take 2nd place. Individual scores were as follows:

The Tigerettes will be returning to Corpus Christi to compete at Regionals and are hopeful to make a run for State!
