June 5 - Tiger Stadium Graduation -
This will be a closed event, and each senior will be given a pre determined number of tickets to give to family and guests. The stage will be configured in a way that guests can see it from both the home and visitors side of the stadium. Social distancing measures will be in place, and households who have been in quarantine will be encouraged to sit together. Graduates will be seated to the side of the stage and social distancing will be the standard. We are also making plans to have extra seating for senior citizens or others who might be considered at higher risk on the track. The traditional start time of 8:00 PM will likely be pushed back to 8:30 PM so it will be more comfortable temperature wise, and people sitting on the visitor side of the stadium will not be staring into the direct Sun.
There are many more details that are being worked out, so be on the lookout for further email communication. The TEA and the Governor's Office have been releasing new guidelines daily, so we appreciate every one's patience and understanding. If there is any community that can pull of such an event, Thrall can!
