FCCLA has teamed up with Thrall Country Diner to sell Turkey & Dressing to-go plate lunches on Mother's Day-Sunday, May 13 as a fund raiser. FCCLA's proceeds from this fund raiser will help the organization with its expenses of competing at the National FCCLA Convention in Atlanta in June.
Turkey & Dressing To-Go Only Plate Lunch at Thrall Country Diner includes turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes, roll and cranberry sauce. Plates cost $10 each. Desserts will be available to purchase, also. Plates and desserts will be available on Sunday, May 13 at Thrall Country Diner from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. via a drive-though set up.
Purchase your tickets by 12:00 noon on Friday, May 11 from any Thrall HS FCCLA member; Mrs. Sarah Stribling-FCCLA Adviser; or at the Administration Building.
After a successful Region V Competition in March, many Thrall FCCLA members advanced to compete at State FCCLA April 5-7 in Dallas. The Parliamentary Procedures Junior Team, consisting of Emma Burkhart, Brooke DeAngelis, Jentri Kelm, Lindsey Olsen, Kara Sledge and Kaitlyn Thelen, (all freshmen) earned 1st Place and advance next to the National FCCLA Competition in Atlanta, Georgia in June.
