Free Lunch Provided

All TISD students were able to eat lunch free of charge on Tuesday, Feb. 21 due to partial power issues on the campuses. New/fresh ham & cheese sandwich, Goldfish, applesauce, milk or water were served. Power issues are resolved and breakfast and lunch will be served and charged normally on Wednesday, Feb. 22.

TISD Partial Power Issues RESOLVED

Partial power outage issues for some areas of the TISD campuses which did not have electricity have been resolved as of 12 noon, Tuesday, Feb. 21. Classes continue, students are learning and meals are being served. Read more...

THS Tied for 6th in Lone Star Cup Race

Honoring the best overall athletic and academic programs in Texas, the UIL Lone Star Cup is open to all UIL participant high schools, and Thrall is currently tied with several other schools for 6th place. The UIL Lone Star Cup is awarded annually to six high schools, one in each of the six UIL classifications (1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A and 6A), based on their team performance in district and state championships. Tiger Giving Tree Appreciates You!

With your support and generosity the Tiger Giving Tree was able to provide a special Christmas for 18 local families this past season. These families, with a total of 56 children, received 362 gifts and food, including a turkey. We can’t thank each of you individually, but please know that Thrall ISD-Tiger Giving Tree very much appreciates each one of you as you helped bring Christmas cheer to meet these families' heartfelt needs and wishes. Superintendent Hooker Selected for Leadership Academy XXIV

The Lamar Superintendent Academy XXIV kicked off this fall, and Mr. Tommy Hooker was selected as the lone south central Texas superintendent to be a part of this cohort. 25 superintendents and Education Service Center Directors comprise the academy from all parts of Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Louisiana.
