Annual Holiday Lunch-Friday, Dec. 15

The annual holiday lunch is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 15, and Elementary and MS students' families are invited to join them for lunch. Reservations were taken earlier, but a few lunches will be available to purchase that day. There is no concert after the lunch this year. Read more for times, etc.

Tigerettes End Season in Regional Finals

Julie Crabb & Emiliano Garza Crowned Queen & King

Harvest Festival 2017, sponsored by Thrall Community Education Foundation (TCEF), was a great success with many fun activities! Congratulations to Class of 2025 with Julie Crabb and Emiliano Garza being crowned Queen and King of Harvest Festival 2017. The traditional Turkey & Dressing meal began at 4:00 p.m. and other events, such as Silent Auction, Carnival, etc., followed throughout the evening. Read more...

Tiger Band Marches into Area Finals!

Tiger Band was one of 7 bands competing in the Area Finals Saturday evening, Oct. 28. Although the Band did not place in the top 4 to move on to the State Contest, they had an awesome performance against many bands twice their size. The Band had competed with 17 bands in the Preliminary round of the Area contest at Robinson HS and was selected to move on to Finals. Read more...

Thrall ISD Moves Forward with District of Innovation Plan

House Bill (HB) 1842, passed during the 84th Legislative Session, permits Texas public school districts to become Districts of Innovation and to obtain exemption from certain provisions of the Texas Education Code. On March 22, 2017, the Thrall Independent School District’s Board of Trustees passed a Resolution to explore the development of a District of Innovation Plan to increase local control over District operations and to support innovation and local initiatives.
